Personal Update
No two ways about it, August was hot, even here in the mountains of Armenia. But despite that, I still try to work on this website as well as prepare new materials for the coming school year. The only bummer was that I had a running injury so I’m currently trying to build back up (got a 5k race in September).
But the biggest news for August was that our school received new desks, chairs, chalkboards, etc for every student from the Armenian School Foundation. So, that when the students arrived on the first day of school, Sept 2nd, they were so, so happy. A big thank you again to the Armenian School Foundation!
It’s going to be a busy, busy school year, with a few big changes in the curriculum - which means changes in my co-teacher’s workload. I’m so glad I’m here to help them tackle this extra work. Looking forward to telling you all about it next month.
