February-March 2025 Newsletter
WanderingTheWorld.com - All Things Peace Corps monthly newsletter
Wow—so much has changed in just a few short months! With a new administration in place, the world feels different, even for Peace Corps volunteers serving halfway across the globe. But one thing hasn’t changed: my commitment to my community and my school. As a US Peace Corps volunteer, I took an oath to serve, and I’m giving it my all—just like so many other dedicated volunteers out there.

Personal Update
Well, a lot can happen in two months! The New-Years and Christmas holidays were even better than last year. I turned 67 (OMG!) and we had our Close-of-Service (COS) Conference. But don’t worry, 4 of us are extending a 3rd year. I can’t believe that the whole group is still together after 2 years. I count them all as dear friends and will miss them a lot as they return to the US. 2025 definitely is going to be a year of HUGE changes everywhere. But I’m still hoping that I can continue the work Peace Corps, my community, and my school has asked me to do until I finish my service in June’26.
