We just finished a great month highlighting the women in the Peace Corps with our Building Bridges series. Check it out if you missed it. And always happy to hear more stories from volunteers in different countries. This time we have Deborah in Fiji, and Maxim in North Macedonia. And I finally put together a post on the flashcards I make for my classes. I’ve been developing these for years and so happy to share them. And they are FREE, so download what you need or download them all. If you’re new here, be sure to look at our “other new posts”. And I’m am excited to share some shorter posts on our Substack webpage. Here’s hoping you can start to see spring right around the corner in your part of the world.

Jim’s Personal Update
They call March the “crazy” month in Armenia. That is because the weather is constantly changing: snow, rain, warm and sunny, more snow, etc. I never really know what the weather will be like until I look out the window every morning.
The semester at school is going well, and I’m already looking ahead to an exciting summer. My students are talking more in English class. And we're having lots of fun. While building critical thinking skills is an area we need to work on, I know with some adjustments, my students will catch on. I’m energized thinking about the opportunities ahead to help them not only improve their English, but their skills as students. Happy I’m part of their lives.
Looking forward to warmer weather and the summer holidays. Still hoping to have some sort of computer camp/club events in June. And PCV Camden and I are planning a teacher training in June also. Hopefully I’ll have more updates in the next newsletter.
