In March, we celebrated Women’s History Month with a collection of 30 stories from women of all ages and backgrounds who served as US Peace Corps volunteers. I still think it’s important to see the world through other’s eyes and I’m grateful and blessed to have served with amazing women as a Peace Corps volunteers. And I thank them for their service!

Personal Update
A busy month so didn’t publish as much as I would like for all you. We had our COS conference at the end of February and then got a last winter storm that dumped tons of snow throughout the country. A week later, it was 60 degrees. ha ha ha
In March, PCVs from Armenia joined volunteers in 7 other countries to participate in the newly revived WriteOn! competition. Students from grades 6-12 had to write creative stories for a prompt without the use of their smartphones, dictionaries, or teacher’s help. Three of my students won national prizes and we should find out soon if any won in the international competition. Click here more info on WriteOn!
In April, the newest group of TEFL volunteers here in Armenia will be doing their practicums at my school for a week. The students had so much fun last year, I know they are excited for the new trainees to come again this year.
Just trying to finish out another school year and eventually go back to the US for a vacation this June. But more exciting news I’m sure will be coming next month!
